Rabbi Mendy and Chaya Marlow moved to Montreal-West, September 2016. In particular, there will be an emphasis placed on meeting the Jewish needs of the families in the area through classes, holiday events and family programs. They both look forward to embarking on this journey of sharing the timeless beauty and relevance of our heritage to Jews of all ages and in all stages of life.
Rabbi Mendy Marlow, originally from North Miami Beach, Florida, graduated from the Talmudical Seminary Oholei Torah of NY. He then went on to teach and direct the student activities at the Rabbinical College of Toronto. While in Toronto, Rabbi Marlow became very involved in communal outreach. Rabbi Marlow then moved to New York where he met his wife Chaya as well as earned his Rabbincal Ordination from the United Lubavitch Yeshiva. He then continued his post-ordination studies at the Jewish Leadership Academy in Midtown Manhattan. Rabbi Marlow is known as being an unusually gifted lecturer and teacher with a clear and incisive manner of teaching complex concepts.
Chaya Marlow, born and bred in Montreal, QC. graduated from Beth Rivka High School in Montreal. She then went on to receive her teaching certification from The Chabad Seminary of Canada and the furthered her education at Beit Chana in Tzfat. Chaya brings to the community of Montreal-west a well-earned reputation as a warm and engaging teacher and friend.
